It’s hot and humid. There’s a faint taste of salt in the air. You’re thinking beer. Here’s our take on the best beers for the keys. Light pale ales and Summer IPA’s won’t weigh you down and chill easily. Grab a cooler, a bag of ice and get set to relax. These beers pair great with light summer appetizers and seafood.

Since you’re making a beer run anyways, you might as well pick a couple of snacks to go with them.
Grab a pound or two of shrimp. Throw them in pot of boiling water with some Old Bay seasoning for a couple of minutes and you’ll have perfect Peel and Eat shrimp to nosh on. Serve with spicy cocktail sauce.
Better yet, hit the produce aisle and grab the ingredients for an amazing tropical mango salsa:
A mango
A red onion
A clump of cilantro
A large tomato
A carton of strawberries
A green pepper
and a fresh lime
Finely dice everything above except the lime, combine in a bowl, season with some salt and pepper, then squeeze the juice from the lime over it all. Serve with some crisp tortilla chips.
Grab a chip and some dip, peel a few shrimp, twist off a cap and dive into the pool.
